Wildlife tourism of the wrong sort can harm wildlife and their habitats. Responsible, ecologically-sustainable wildlife tourism which values biodiversity conservation, animal welfare and high-quality nature interpretation (both in wild and captive situations) however has great potential to assist wildlife conservation.
