Park Interpretation Officer
Multiple vacancies – Darwin/Katherine and Alice Springs.
Are you a creative, dynamic and motivated team player, keen to join the Northern Territory Parks and Wildlife Interpretation Unit? As a Park Interpretation Officer you will be part of a small Territory-wide team responsible for the design, development, production and delivery of a range of interpretive products including signage and displays, publications, face-to-face interpretive programs, and web content and digital media. The role provides opportunities to be involved in Territory wide and regional projects, consulting and engaging with Aboriginal Custodians, Parks and Wildlife staff and relevant stakeholders in the preparation and oversight of interpretive projects. Travel to regional and remote areas within the Parks estate will be required to undertake field based duties.
We are offering a competitive salary including 6 weeks paid annual leave. Relocation assistance may also be available.
Important note – An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
