Survey closes: 5.00 pm AEST, Friday 5 June 2026

Project Overview
This project responds to strong industry feedback that current tourism, travel and guiding qualifications no longer fully reflect contemporary job roles, technologies or workforce practices. The sector has undergone major transformation driven by digital technology, changing visitor expectations, new business models and workforce disruption.
To address these gaps, we are reviewing and updating the following qualifications:
SIT30125 Certificate III in Tourism
SIT30222 Certificate III in Travel
SIT30322 Certificate III in Guiding
The project aims to ensure these qualifications are fit for purpose, future-ready and aligned with how work is performed across tourism, travel and guiding today.
This project will be undertaken in line with the national Training Package Organising Framework (TPOF).
