Call for Expressions of Interest
Interpretation Australia is seeking an experienced graphic designer from within our membership to create the visual identity for the 2026 IA National Conference. This includes a conference logo and a small suite of supporting digital assets that will shape the look and feel of the event.
This opportunity will be offered as an in‑kind partnership, with the designer receiving complimentary conference registration and acknowledgement across conference materials.
What We’re Looking For
A designer who can develop a cohesive, accessible, and contemporary visual identity that reflects the spirit of our 2026 theme and supports IA’s broader communications.
Scope of Work
1. Conference Logo
• Primary full‑colour logo
• Single‑colour and reversed versions
• Horizontal or stacked variation (if needed)
2. Basic Visual Identity Elements
• Colour palette
• Font recommendations (accessible and widely available)
• Optional: simple graphic motifs or shapes
3. Key Assets
• PowerPoint template
• Web banner for the IA website
• Social media templates
4. File Package
• PNG, JPG, and vector formats
• Web and print‑ready versions
Timeline
• Expressions of interest: early February
• Designer confirmed: late February
• First concepts: early March
• Final identity delivered: 1 April
In‑Kind Exchange
• One complimentary registration to the 2026 IA National Conference
• Acknowledgement in conference materials
• Optional profile feature in IA eNews or IA social channels
